I am currently a teaching assistant and demonstrator at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). I hold M.Sc in Urban Planning and B.A. in Urban Studies from HKU. My works before are mostly data-driven - I am responsible for geospatial data manipulation, analysis and visualisation for various urban planning/analytics projects. Things I made are mostly maps and charts (both static and dynamic), in the form of academic paper, articles, web map applications and interactive charts.

The major tools I use are Geographic Information System (GIS), R and Python. My background in urban planning also fosters my passion in urban analytics. I am committed to use data and metrics to understand urban problems. I am also passionate in developing spatial data models and applications that helps make solid decisions and provide recommendations to issues in the built environment.

Storytelling with data and maps is part of my interest. In spare time, you can find me in front of the monitor analysing various dataset, creating maps and exploring urban issues. Or, I am wandering around the city and acting like an urban flâneur.

This website serves as a place to list my experience and portfolio. Check my resume and personal blog Urban Data Palette if you are interested.

From time to time, I have created a number of projects (part of them are long-term and large-scale). The common thing is that all these projects are related to urban analytics and GIS. They also utilise my spatial and quantitative analysis skills.

Following are the my selected projects. You could check the full list of my projects here.
